An early Morning the day before their wedding with Dale and Megan turned out to be one of the most fun sessions I've ever photographed. The whole concept behind this session, was for me to photograph a typical morning in their lives. For these two, this is what a typical Saturday Morning looks like: Grab a cup of coffee from Salt Café and head to Thompson's bay for a dip in the tidal pool.
Dale and Megs made it so easy for me to photograph and tell their story as a couple in the most authentic way, because I photographed them in one of their MOST comfortable environments. Going back to the basics and not overthinking their engagement shoot to be this perfect setting with a cocktail dress and high heels.
NOPE. Jeans, backwards cap, sweaters and no make-up. It was absolutely perfect.
A winter's morning - maybe not so ideal to do their typical Summer Saturday morning - but they faced the weather, embraced the cold and used it as an excuse for some cozy cuddles at the end of the session.
